Garden Transformation in Tonbridge, Kent
Composite Decking, Bespoke Fencing & Custom Timber Planters
Catherine came to Stagbrook wanting more than a garden refresh, she wanted a space that felt like a true extension of her home.
Based in Tonbridge, Kent, her property had a tired lawn area, limited privacy and no defined outdoor living zone. Our brief was to create structure, warmth and usability, while keeping the finish refined and long-lasting.
The Brief
Create a dedicated outdoor seating and entertaining area
Improve privacy with high-quality fencing
Introduce structure and planting zones
Use durable, low-maintenance materials
Deliver a clean, contemporary finish
Our Approach
We designed a cohesive layout that balanced function and aesthetics, ensuring every element worked together rather than feeling pieced together.
Project duration: 3 weeks from groundwork to completion
Site preparation: Ground levelling and sub-base installation
Decking: Premium composite decking system installed on a reinforced timber frame
Fencing: Closeboard fencing with concrete posts and gravel boards for long-term durability
Planters: Bespoke timber planters, built on-site and treated for weather resistance
All works were carried out by our in-house team, ensuring consistent quality control and minimal disruption to Catherine and her family.
Materials & Craftsmanship
We don’t cut corners on structure, because what you don’t see matters just as much as the finish.
Structurally sound sub-frame to prevent movement and sagging
Precision-aligned decking boards for a seamless look
Securely set fence posts for longevity in all weather conditions
Professionally finished planters designed to age beautifully
The result is a garden that feels intentional, structured and inviting, not just upgraded.
The Result
Catherine’s garden is now a defined outdoor living space, ideal for entertaining, relaxing or simply enjoying a morning coffee in privacy.
“Stagbrook transformed our garden with a new deck, fence, and planters. The work was done to a very high standard. Our garden is now our favourite part of the house!”
